About Granger National Bank
Founded in 1920, Granger National Bank stands as the oldest banking institution in Granger, proudly serving the community for over 100 years. Our historic building, erected in 1924, represents our unwavering commitment to resilience, trust, and service. We weathered the stock market crash of 1929 and the Great Depression, coming out stronger for our customers and community.
In 2020, we celebrated our centennial, marking a century of success, community, and growth. Locally owned and operated, the Heger family took a majority interest in the bank in 1973, maintaining the bank’s personal touch and local decision-making.
In 2024, Giancarlo Ortega (Chairman), Evan Singer (President), and Eric Diehl (CFO) joined the board, adding fresh leadership to carry our legacy forward. They are joined by Vice Chairman Dan Johnson and distinguished directors John Simcik, Tim Vrabel Sr., Dr. William Pavlat, Ted Kallus, Travis Hardwick, Steve Sherman, Lucian Bukowski, and Michael Heger. Lisa Ortega serves as an advisory director.
At Granger National Bank, we believe in relationship-based banking, where our number one priority is you—our customer. We offer a full range of services, from agricultural to commercial lending. No matter your need, our dedicated team is here to provide personalized service with a community-focused approach.
Granger National Bank is proudly insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), ensuring your deposits are safe and secure.
